The most prestigious pageant in Canada for Mrs. Philippines was won by Mrs. Rachel Eramo a retired school Teacher. This pageant is special to all the contestants because  the event will help build houses for the PIDC Toronto GK Village in Bicol, Philippines. Overall the 2008 pageant was able to raise 4 houses for the poor in the Philippines.  All the contestants had so much fun and was able to help the poor at the same time.  The event was held at the Rembrandt Banquet Hall.
