Once again, the community is abuzz with excitement and preparation of this year’s Independence Day The Chair’s of this year’s Salu Salu sa Earl Bales picnic promise an exciting array of entertainment and games for the entire family.
The theme for this year is ARAW NG MGA BAYANI, to commemorate the birth day of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. To celebrate the winning of Efren Penaflorida who was named “CNN Hero of the Year”; to honour the memory of Juana Tejada and the countless men and women who all fought hard over the years to improve the situation of all foreign live-in caregivers in Canada; to thank many unselfish volunteers who helped generously in the recent typhoon Ondoy. They are all indeed heroes and champions!!

Entertainment, Games and Sports
Various exciting contest for our young and old (young at heart) as well as entertainment galore is planned for the entire day.
The heart stopping, suspense filled volleyball championship will be the highlight of the day. This year, we are expecting to have 14 teams competing for the most coveted Indpendence Day Volleybal Cup!
