Support Our Youth Program!

The Mabuhay Cup is a 3 day event and will be held on July 9,10 and 11
2010,at the Hoop Dome Downsview Park,75 Carl Hall Road,Toronto.

To date, we are expecting 60 teams to join this tournament.This
actually the highest since Mabuhay Cup started in 2004.

This tournament aims to promote leadership,sportsma nship,camaraderi e
and an active and healthy life style among our youths.PIDC believes
that our youths of today are the future leaders of tomorrow.

Now in its 7th year,this tournament has been very successful and youth
has grown over the years.Unfortunately ,the cost of holding this
tournament has also increased. We,at PIDC feel that passing the cost to
the participating teams is counter productive to our objective.

PIDC is a non-profit organization that solely depends on sponsorship
and fund raising to finance its activities.

The Mabuhay Cup Tournament unites all Filipino-Canadian basketball
clubs in the community and encourages them to enjoy a friendly
competition in basketball.It inspires our youths to play their best with
the hope of playing in the Mabuhay Cup.Playing basketball keeps them
fit,busy and occupied which keep them away from drugs,guns,violence and
other troubles which faces most youth groups today.

We hope for your continuous support for this year. We are counting on
you to help us on these 3 days tournament.
